What is hedonism for me?<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

It is a very subtle BALANCE between aesthetics, ethics, emotions, pleasures, desires and drives. It is a formula to enjoy life without excesses, intoxications, deceptions, useless suffering.<\/p>

It is exactly what Epicurus preached in his time, without the manipulations of ours. It is a philosophy of life that I want to rescue and revalue.<\/p>

How do we come to feel pleasure and well-being?<\/strong><\/p>

Through a physical-mental process: releasing hormones in a natural way thanks to concrete actions and thoughts of different kinds, such as eating, laughing, doing sport, having sex, breathing fresh air, seeing a landscape, climbing a mountain, achieving a challenge, etc.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Epicurus<\/a>\u00a0observed these dynamics in people without having analytics, chemical measurements, Google or social networks at his fingertips. And since envy and opportunism are primordial sins, even in his time there were detractors and manipulators, so his theory was used according to the interests of the case, coming to be identified in our time as the philosophy of pleasure as an end in itself.
It may also be confused with utilitarianism, opportunism, libertinism or synonyms.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
