This concept (Japanese and quite modern) has a lot to do with the classical hedonistic philosophy, which is often confused with the constant pursuit of pleasure for its own sake, when in fact its foundation is in <strong>achieving balance<\/strong>The only condition that generates true pleasure.<\/p>\n<p>Discover your\u00a0<b>ikigai<\/b>\u00a0requires a <strong>intense exercise of introspection and analysis<\/strong>. You have to think it through, taking as much time as necessary to find what brings you satisfaction and gives meaning to your life. And this is even more relevant if you have to <strong>guiding your children's future career<\/strong> or if <strong>you manage a team<\/strong>human resources whose performance depends in part on your influence and example.<\/p>\n<p>The drawing clearly explains the basis for the <strong>Ikigai<\/strong>However, achieving the balance of the 4 pillars is far from simple.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Your passion: is the combination of what you\u00a0<strong>you love to do<\/strong>\u00a0and of that\u00a0<strong>what you are good at<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Your mission: it is in the balance between\u00a0<strong>what the world needs<\/strong>\u00a0of you and l<strong>or that you love to do<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Your vocation: it is found when you<strong>or what the world needs<\/strong>\u00a0of you is combined with what you know how to do and\u00a0<strong>for what they can pay you.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Your profession: when\u00a0<strong>you can get paid<\/strong>\u00a0for what you are good at.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Have you ever wondered whether\u00a0<strong>these four pillars of your life are in balance<\/strong>\u00a0Or if you only live for some of them?
